Critical Incident Stress Management
CISM is a structured system of peer support, and psychological care designed to help first responders, and military veterans cope with emotional distressing, traumatic, and/or high-stress events.
De-Escalation For First Responders
Techniques for recognizing early warning signs, using effective verbal, and non-verbal communication, and reducing tension before situations escalate.
Identifying Impaired First Responders
Training that focuses on peer awareness, early intervention, and support- not punishment.
Para-Peer Counseling
A form of peer support where trained peers provide structured emotional support, and guidance.
Acute Stress Adaptive Protocol
EMDR-based, evidence supported intervention that assists first responders to process stressful, and/or traumatic events.
Trauma Informed Yoga
We offer Yoga weekly at the wellness center. Yoga helps balance not only the body, but the mind too. It helps slow things down, and recharge. For more info on our yoga program visit our events page.
Therapy Dog Support
Therapy K-9 Hope is available for any CISM or ASAP call out. She is trained to understand, and feel distress in the room, and will be there to lend a paw for anyone struggling.
