Quiet Corner Peer Support Group is proud to present the First Responder Resilience Symposium. a full-day event dedicated to honoring the strength, courage, and resilience of those who serve our communities.

This symposium brings together first responders, mental health advocates, survivors, authors, and community members for a day of powerful stories, honest conversations, and meaningful education. Attendees will have the opportunity to hear firsthand experiences from individuals who have faced some of life's most challenging moments and learned how to move forward through resilience, connection, and support.

Our featured speakers will share their personal journeys and professional experiences while exploring topics including mental health, trauma resilience, recognizing the signs of someone who may be struggling, and the importance of reaching out for help.

Featured presentations include "Spot the Signs," led by Dr. Keven McNeil and Katelyn Gardiner, as well as stories from retired FDNY firefighter and 9/11 responder Tim Brown and former narcotics detective, Navy Search and Rescue Swimmer Matthew Griffin.

Weather you are a firefighter, law enforcement officer, dispatcher, EMS provider, veteran, healthcare professional, family member, or simply someone who wants tp better understand the challenges faced by first responders, you have a place at this symposium.
